Be the first to stay at 'Villa Olivia' when we open in July 2009. The owner has upgraded most of the fittings to provide a luxurious home-from-home. Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the villa is only 5 minutes walk from the Fireman's Beach and the shops, bars and restaurants offered by Kapparis Village. Enjoy coastal walks from the paths on your doorstep! The lively resort of Protaras is a short drive away, and for the young at heart, Ayia Napa is a 15 minute drive. And don't forget the water park! Spend a day having fun with family and friends. The local mini-zoo is a short walk, where you can see the ghost town of Famagusta from the roof-top vantage point, and the stunning coastline views. Water sports available at Skoutari Beach, within walking distance. See the pretty fishing harbour and tiny church at Ayia Trias. Take a boat cruise and view the scenic coastline at your leisure. Adventurous? Try scuba diving or snorkeling. Energetic? Take out a bike provided and explore!

Changeover day
There is no set changeover day. Please enquire about your preferred dates.

Accessibility
The pool has steps for easy access, and also bannisters to help up the stairs.
Outside
The garden is completely fenced. The design offers privacy while letting you peep at the outside world! The private corner pool, complete with steps, is for your own personal use. No lifeguard is provided and you are responsible for your own safety and that of your party. There is seating for up to 6 people, for al fresco dining, and luxury sun loungers, for sun worshipping! The front of the villa has a covered pergola providing another outdoor space to relax in. Here you will also find high quality lounge furniture providing a peaceful setting to enjoy a drink and relax before your evening meal. This area extends out from the lounge, giving a large spacious feel. A small bistro table is also provided for the upper balcony, to sit and enjoy your early morning cuppa! Just behind the villa is a large open space, and there are crop fields next door, so the villa is nice and private. There is also a built in stone bar-b-que for your own use.
Coast/Beach
There are coastal paths to explore, and at the weekend you can see the locals having their own barbecues in the secluded bays towards Famagusta. The beautiful white sandy beach in Protaras is well worth a visit, as is the famous Nissi Beach and beautiful Connos Bay.
Travel
Villa Olivia is just 40 minutes from Larnaca Airport (65k) Clear instruction is given by the owner, making the villa very easy to find. Paphos airport is a 2 hour drive away.
Hiring a car is not essential as there are all the amenities within easy walking distance of the villa. There are local buses to Protaras and Paralimni and a regular bus from Larnaca airport to Paralimni.
We would, however recommend hiring a car, then you can explore all the delights the area has to offer.
Distances
The local beach, shops, bars and restaurants are within 5 minutes walk. The town of Paralimni is 2km away, where old and new sit comfortably together. Contemporary cafes and local restaurants, with a big church dominating the main square. Sit with a coffee and watch a wedding! Protaras, with it's beautiful stretch of white sandy beach and Fig Tree Bay are just a 5 minute drive away. Just beyond, beautiful Konnos Bay and Cape Greco - with the stunning sea caves - await you.
Further details
Villa Olivia provides a bike for you to explore the local area. We have our welcome brochure detailing everything the area has to offer, and hidden restaurants you might like to try! Kapparis is a growing resort, with great restaurants serving traditional and european cuisine. Just Italian serves the best food outside of Italy, and the food served in Faliros (the closest restaurant to the villa) is a delight to the taste-buds! Try their new adjoining cocktail bar for a pre-dinner drink.
Further along the main road, you will reach the lively resort of Protaras. Here the choices of food/entertainment are limitless. Take the family/friends for a game of mini-golf or visit the sea aquarium. Stroll along the beautiful white sandy beaches at twillight, and enjoy the sunset at Fig Tree Bay. Or maybe go abit further along the coast and visit Cape Greko National Park. If dancing the night away is your thing, take a taxi to Ayia Napa - 15 minutes - and party on down! Here you will find everything to entertain you! The villa also provides a selection of DVDs for your use, and a variety of board/card games. Perfect for a night enjoying your holiday home.
Booking notes
A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking (full payment if booking within 6 weeks of the holiday start date). In addition, a refundable breakages/damages deposit of £300 is required with all bookings, payable before arrival and refunded within 7 days of departures, less any deductions for lossess, damage or breakages.

The villa is fabulous. You have provided absolutely everything (and more!) in the villa,down to the sockets, cool box and iPod docking station! The decor is beautiful,spotlessly clean and is more than comfortable - a little bit of luxury! You have picked the perfect location. It is quiet and private, the sun is at the pool or side of the house all day. We had the choice to sunbathe or sit in the shade. We spent a couple of nights playing the Wii - an excellent addition! You have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Replying promptly to any queries/emails. You have been helpful and informative.
