Megas Alexandros is in an ideal location if you want a quiet setting with all amenities close by. The beach, shops, upmarket restaurants and nightlife of The Tombs of the Kings area are a short walk away, The pretty harbour, Kato Paphos and the Old Town are just a few minutes drive. The house is finished to a high specification throughout with granite workstops in the kitchen and a marble staircase. Upstairs there two bedrooms, the master bedroom overlooks the swimming pool, and a bath with shower. Downstairs the living area leads to a sizeable terrace which is ideal for entertaining. This overlooks an attractive heated swimming pool with bridge and waterfall feature and steps for easy access to the shallow end. The beach next to the deluxe Elysium Hotel is a short walk away and watersports can be found at Coral Bay.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Discounts offered for stays of a month or more. Christmas and Easter periods prices vary. All prices available on application.

Changeover day
Can be flexible if the house is available. Wednesday is preferred and tends to be cheaper for flights. Check in time is 3pm and check out time 11am to allow for cleaning.

Notes on accommodation
The house has air conditioning units throughout which double as heaters during the winter months. Children are welcome, cots are available upon request. The house is strictly no smoking, however guests may smoke outside on the terrace area.

Accessibility
The house is 2 storey with a sofabed and wc downstairs and a marble staircase leading from the ground to the first floor. The bathroom with bath and shower are on the first floor. There are 3 steps leading to the front entrance of the house. There is access to the terrace from the lounge through patio doors, and 2 steps from the terrace to the pool area.

Outside
The beautiful swimming pool with waterfall and bridge is a major feature on this stunning development. The shared pool is heated in the winter months and there are steps leading to the shallow area for your easy access. The pool is surrounded by well maintained landscaped gardens and you can access the area from the terrace of the house. The sizeable terrace overlooks the pool and is ideal for entertaining and if you wish to dine alfresco. There is patio furniture on the terrace or you can relax on sun loungers. For your convenience there are changing rooms with wc and showers at the pool. There is a carport to the side of the house with additional on road parking.

Coast/Beach
The beach next to the deluxe Elysium Hotel is about a 5 - 10 minute walk away. Coral Bay caters for watersports and is about 10 - 15 minute drive away by bus.

Golf
There are 3 main golf courses within a 20 minute drive of Paphos.

Skiing
In the winter months (December - March) you can ski in the morning in the Troodos mountains and relax on the beach back in Paphos in the afternoon. The ski resort is about an 1 - 1 1/2 hours drive away from Paphos.

Travel
Paphos is the nearest airport and a 15 - 20 minute drive away from Megas Alexandros costing around 20 Euros by taxi. Larnaca is around 45 minutes drive away. Taxis are readily available at the airports or you can arrange car hire.

Distances
Megas Alexandros is central to the lively and historical Tombs of the Kings area. Kato Paphos, its harbour and the Old Town are about a 15 minute walk away or a short taxi/bus ride. Coral beach is about a 10 - 15 minute drive. Nicosia is 1 1/2 hours drive, Larnaca 45 minutes.

Further details
Paphos is a year round holiday destination with a long season due to the glorious weather. There is something for everyone: watersports, Aphrodite water park, beaches, historical sites, golf, skiing in the winter, yachting, cruising, horse trekking, fabulous food, friendly locals. Banks, supermarkets, hospital and Internet cafes are all within easy reach. Cypriot law is based on British law and driving is on the left hand side of the road.

Booking notes
A 25% deposit is payable upon booking and is non refundable. The balance is due 10 weeks before your arrival date. £75 is required as a bond upon the balance date and will be refunded to you within 14 days of your departure date once the property has been checked for damage and breakages. For stays of 10 days or less, there is a charge of £30 for end of stay cleaning.
